I recently bought a box of ferrero rocher chocolate. Today only, when I have opened a chocolate to eat it , I have found fungus on the surface of the chocolate and when i have opened 7~10 more chocolates , same fungus found on all.

Unfortunately , i have eaten 1 as my room light was dim and now got admitted to hospital as doctor confirmed this as food poisoning.

This is highly disappointing from the brand like you, highly hazardous to health. I expect to hear back from you with a full resolution/Root cause/Corrective/Permanent corrective action/Compensation to this issue.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $5850.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I bought a farrero rocher and it has fungus on it seriously disappointed

What is pictured is not fungus. It is actually chocolate bloom, and is not at all harmful.

It occurs when chocolate is pulled out of temper, or has been exposed to humidity.

It's simply either fat of sugar crystals that have surfaced. Chocolate itself has very low water activity levels which prevents microbial growth, making it highly unlikely that it would cause any food borne illness issues.

You have to be able to prove that it was the chocolate that actually caused you to be sick. Did you keep a sample of your stomach contents from the hospital?

See the issue is a three parter. You the consumer, the maker, then the retailer. The maker will say it was sold to the retailer in perfect condition. The retailer will say they sold it to you in perfect condition and it must be how it was stored AFTER the purchase that caused you to be sick.

Without documented video proof with samples and doctor reports from an infectious diseases doctor your going to be wasting your time.

You can try and sue but you face a giant uphill battle. Good luck though.

Here I have got chocolates wrapped with fungus and you are asking about my reports ...that's great ...

You have no regrets why and how these fungus wrapped chocolates got delivered to customer .instead of this you are asking me to share my reports ,videos etc.

Yes I do have everything to share but will share on right platform .

Going forward,I will share this fungus photographs to social media and shall recommend everyone not to go for these chocolates if you want to save your health.

Two days has gone but getting no reply over such serious problem.......can we expect some gentle reply on same otherwise I have to take a legal action.
